Our Story

Achievers Gymnastics was founded in 1992 by Frank Kudlac in a 4,500-square-foot facility. As the program grew, Frank expanded to a 10,000-square-foot space in 1996 before building the facility Achievers occupies today in 2000.
Over the years, Achievers has celebrated countless champions, scholarship athletes, and success stories. Thousands of athletes have grown through the program and gone on to become doctors, lawyers, and leaders in their communities. In 2023, after more than three decades of ownership, Frank and Johnna Kudlac sold Achievers Gymnastics to Ryan and Chandler Turney.
“We are incredibly grateful to Frank for creating Achievers and for the lasting impact he has made on tens of thousands of families. Personally, I would not be who I am today without the guidance, mentorship, and opportunities I received as both an athlete and an employee at Achievers.”
I began gymnastics at age five and joined Achievers when I was eight. My mom started working at the gym part time, so I spent much of my childhood running around the facility often acting like I already owned the place! Even before joining Achievers, I told everyone I wanted to own my own gym. When Frank learned about that dream, I remember him saying, “Maybe one day you’ll own this gym.” Twenty-two years later, that day became a reality.
I am excited to begin this next chapter alongside my beautiful wife, Chandler. Chandler also started gymnastics at Achievers at age five. Her family later moved away, and she finished her gymnastics career as a Level 9 gymnast in Arizona. We met while coaching during college in Lubbock. Chandler will continue coaching and helping with various responsibilities at the gym!
Together, we bring over 50 years of combined experience in competing, judging, coaching, and managing within the sport of gymnastics. Gymnastics has taught us the value of discipline, time management, patience, and hard work principles we will carry into every aspect of leading Achievers.
Our goal is to help every athlete build a foundation for success, whatever path they choose in life. We want each child to feel supported, challenged, and proud to be part of the Achievers family. We will work tirelessly to serve our athletes and families while continuing the legacy Frank established.
Our motto, “We teach kids to Achieve!”, will remain our number-one priority.
